What will I miss about DMS?
There are so many things about DMS that I am going to miss as I head off to High School. Although there are tons of things that I will miss, the main three things that I will miss the most are all the times I got to walk to the commons after school to end off the week with some fun. Being able to just walk over to the commons after school so easily was the best thing ever. Especially when I got to have so much fun hanging out with my amazing friends. Speaking of friends, I'll miss them too. Many of my closest friends are going to different high schools than me. My friends have stayed with me throughout my roughest points and highest points and I am beyond grateful to even be able to call them my friends. Finally, I'm filled with gratitude for all the amazing teachers who did way more than just teach me what was in the book. They cared for me no matter what and I'm so happy I got to be able to be their students. Even though having to change schools is upsetting, I'm still excited for what is to come in high school.
What am I excited for?
I am beyond excited for all the new friends I'll meet, all the cool classes I'll be able to take, and most of all, not having to wear these dumb marlin shirts that never fit you the way you want. If you want your marlin shirt to be baggy it always turns out tight, but if you want it tight you it always ends up being baggy. It never works out in your favor. Also there are many different class options in highschool like biomed (Which I will be taking), ASL and even bowling!
What are my plans for this summer?
My plans for the summer include sleeping and hanging out with my family and friends. This school year I've always been getting a max of 5 hours of sleep at night, but during summer I'll be able to sleep for however long I want without having to worry about homework, or about any tests or quizzes the next day. I also am very happy I'll be able to hangout with my friends and family since I feel as if school takes up most of my time at home and I'm always locked up in my room focusing on dumb homework and studying.
